Almost Spring, cherry blossoms in Piazza Santo Stefano, Milano - 2012

Sakura is a symbol for Japan, and with this picture of cherry blossoms in Milan, I want to remember, one year after, the victims of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. The nature is so unpredictable, and beautiful.

  1. Lovely! Wish I had known they were in Milan as well. Do they bloom around the same time as japan? March- april?

    • Yes, they do. At the moment some are already in full bloom while others are beginning. you can check my newer post for some more photos! 🙂
