This is the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Peña in Vega de Rio Palmas, some kms South of the old capital of Fuerteventura, Betancuria. The main – and only – street and square of the village were decorated with bunting garlands for the upcoming Romeria, the festival and the procession for the patron saint of Fuerteventura which takes place every September, and that I have obviously missed!
